KNIGHTS ENHAM INFANT AND JUNIOR SCHOOLS, ANDOVER

The project incorporates the refurbishment and extension of existing infant and junior schools.  
 
The project facilities include 14 standard class rooms, Nursery, ICT Suite, Music/drama, Food Technology (2 no.), Craft Technology, Childrens Gym, Library, Pastoral care, SEN area, Resources area, Administration area , Hall, Kitchen and Offices  
 
Building services installations within the buildings include:  
 
• Boiler house with gas fired boilers, pumps, etc. with zoned heating systems incorporating radiators, low surface temperature radiators and fan convectors.  
• Domestic water services including thermostatic mixing valves.  
• 4 No. wind catchers with solar boost to provide automatic natural ventilation to the 4 No. first floor class rooms which suffer from significant overheating issues.  
• Mechanical ventilation to toilets, kitchen, food tech, craft tech, music/drama.  
• Control’s including smart metering.  
• Gas safety systems.  
• Electricity supply, mains and sub-mains distribution.  
• Small power.  
• Lighting, emergency lighting and external lighting.  
• Fire alarm and detection.  
• IT/Voice/ Data provisions.  
• Audio system  
• Security systems including CCTV
