Port Hamble Marina

Gary Jones Associates were appointed by Marina Developments Ltd to provide consultancy services on the water front development at their Hamble Marina.  
 
The existing Harbour Masters building was refurbished and extended to provide temporary office accommodation in the first phase of the project with the intention to convert to a bar/restaurant on the completion of phase 2. It also included the refurbishment of the shower and toilet accommodation.  
 
Phase 2 involved the demolition of the existing industrial units building and construction of a new combined development with 4 No high specification 2 storey apartments above 4 No ground floor office units.  
 
The apartments are extremely well appointed with unique home automation installations which incorporates integrated control of telephones, internet, audio /visual (incl. CATV), scene setting lighting control, remote curtain/blinds operation, heating control (including remote dial in).  
 
Full detailed design of all M&E services was carried out including;

Lighting  
Power  
Fire Alarms  
Intruder alarms  
Utility liaison  
Intercom and access control  
Integrated entertainment system
