Cup Glory for Bitterne Youth Rangers

GJAL’s sponsored under 15’s football team Bitterne Youth Rangers triumphed yesterday in the Patisserie Cup final with a comprehensive and well deserved victory over the new Division 3 champions Townhill Emperors. The match was a hard fought contest with both teams creating chances in the first half which finished 0 – 0. In the second half Bitterne dominated and got their just rewards late on with two super goals to clinch the win.  
 
Team coach Gordon McGregor stated ‘This is a terrific win for us today. To beat the division champions is an outstanding achievement for our club…the use of neutral officials in the final was crucial. It’s a great way to finish the season.’
